We have produced over 50 champions and many Kylador offspring are active and excel in various dog events. Some as "Super Dogs" performers, Obedience title holders, Field Tests, Agility, Scent Hurling, Therapy dogs, Tracking and Flyball, but the all do best as someones buddy and are great family dogs for work and play.

We are members of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club Of Canada, The Canadian Kennel Club and The Golden Retriever Club. We have been breeding Goldens for many years and this experience has proven invaluable in our Toller Breeding Program.

Our goal is to improve the general quality of the Toller by knowledgeable, selective breeding keeping excellent temperament and health as our main priority and always breeding to the C.K.C. standard so there will be greater uniformity in the breed. We offer a 3 year written guarantee which displays the confidence we have in our Breeding Program.

We encourage all dog owners to do obedience training and retrieving with their puppies, as a trained, obedient dog is happy and well-adjusted and therefore makes an excellent companion, is a joy to have around the house and can be taken anywhere without being a nuisance. We require a fenced yard or large enclosure for our puppies where they are safe, with adequate protection from the elements, fresh drinking water and that they are never tied up. Tollers love people especially their families and prefer to be with them. They also adore children and get along well with other dogs, cats and various family pets.

All of our puppies are raised in the Family Room or Kitchen and someone is always home so they are well socialized to children, people, animals and normal household activity. Before going to their new homes they are thoroughly checked by our Veterinarian, given their first shots, de-wormed (if necessary), microchipped, and the litter is registered with the C.K.C.

Most of our puppies are sold by reservation and we usually have a waiting list. Show/Obedience/Working homes are given priority as we want our puppies to be visible. The current cost of a Kylador Golden is $1000. A Toller puppy is $1200.   We sell all of our puppies on C.K.C. non-breeding contracts until they are Champions and have all health clearances. We sometimes co-own special puppies and will always help exhibit at Dog Shows, groom and board our own puppies space permitting. We WELCOME visitors so if you would like to meet our dogs in person, just give us a call. Children are always welcome.
